The Master’s Thesis by researcher Alaa Nasser Hussein Alwan, “Design and construction of a dried solar complex to condensate water from air,” was discussed in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kerbala University. An innovative plan for the complex of dried solar energy was proposed in this study. The system uses three distinct types of materials to collect water vapor from the atmosphere, including blue silica, calcium chloride, and activated alumina, and six flat panels in the solar complex. This substance is covered by glass during the day and is exposed to the air at night to absorb moisture.

The members of the thesis committee, which was chaired by Professor Abbas Jassim Jubeir from Wasit University and included Asst. Professor Dr. Fadel Noraldin Abdul of Kerbala University, Dr. Haider Nori Mohamed of Kerbala University, and Professor Dr. Farhan Lftah Rasheed of Kerbala University as a member and advisor, approved the research.
